Atlantic Avenue is a beautiful town beach in the Hamptons. Parking requires a permit, otherwise it is $50 per day. Facilities are somewhat limited but there is a comfort station and a juice stand.
Interesting Story... Operations Pastorius, which had Germany land secret agents on US soil from U Boats had the first 4 land on this beach, then things went comically wrong! look it up!
This Beach is LEGIT GORGEOUS! And the cooler part is one of the original Coast Guard stations and THIS ONE was the one that caught the Germans coming onto the beach during WWII
