Only bad thing is absolutely NO parking! Only has two handicap spots, My husband has heart issues from Diabetes, and not a general spot at all. However, The Sunset, the open beach Easter weekend, and the Huge amount of of Clean shells on the beach was amazing!
One of the best places on the island to watch the sunset. There is not much public parking. You will want to get there early. It is a good walk out to the water and the sound but it is definitely worth the walk. Go at low tide and you'll be able to find some seashells.
I cannot get over how gorgeous this spot is!!! I'm a travel wedding + engagement photographer & recently visited Emerald Isle for an engagement session. The sunset was stunning (truly one of a kind!) and the beach was not super crowded which was perfect for photos. I can't wait to be back soon!
Gorgeous place to watch the sunset. However, zero parking. Signs everywhere warning you not to park there. If your vehicle can handle all terrains then you can just drive down to the beach.
One of my Favorite beaches to do sessions at!! Offers a variety of scenery (all absolutely GORGEOUS) and generally is pretty low population for great wide open shots.
