Not much of a beach at high tide to speak of at this point....so make sure you check your tide charts if you plan on swimming or sun bathing here. Storm damage still visible and makes things interesting for using the beach. Not much parking either with the public parking lot closed for who knows how much longer. I'm sure once things get cleaned up it will be a fun place again.....
Oh this beach was amazing! We got there around 5:45pm, and it was not busy at all. The kids loved it, because there was not a lot of people around. Parking is very limited but luckily we found a spot. We're definitely thinking about coming back next year! Pawleys Island is Awesome
Me and my daughter went here to watch the sunrise the first time she had ever seen the ocean. Saw maybe a dozen people the entire time. Huge difference from beaches further north.
Nice beach! Quiet, not crowded, great views! Very nice place to kick back with a book, watch for dolphins, hunt for seashells or make a sand sculpture or castle with the kids! At high tide, sometimes you can find little sea creatures under the rocks.
Absolutely love it here. It's so peaceful and beautiful here. Saw two other couples the whole time we were out there.
