About Carbon Beach
Carbon Beach stretches along Malibu's western coastline with consistent waves that attract surfers year-round, particularly during fall and winter swells when Pacific storms generate powerful breaks. The narrow sandy beach is framed by dramatic coastal bluffs and sits in a relatively quiet corner of Malibu, offering a less crowded alternative to nearby Surfrider Beach while maintaining excellent water clarity and steady offshore winds that groom the waves. The intimate cove setting and proximity to tide pools makes it popular with both serious surfers seeking quality waves and families looking for a more secluded beach experience.

Possibly my favorite beach in the Los Angeles area. Unbeatable for the sunsets and a lot more quiet than Zuma and Surf Rider. Used to get my party on here back in the day, had a good time at Lindsay Lohans 4th of July party so definitely 5 stars for Carbon Beach!
Used to be my favorite spot to go chill... karen bass lets the whole beach burn down and then went to ghana the night before... cant make this stuff up. And now the pch is so over police with DOUBLE fines and 25mph speed limit... good luck driving here now.. they want everyone chased out of malibu locals and tourists
Always love going down the Coast Highway from my friend's house that lives in Thousand Oaks but it'll never be the same at least for a while until they rebuild my heart goes out to the people that have lost their homes and the lives that were taken...
Neat little beach off the main road in Malibu.
Great beach, a real hidden gem. Clean watery never to busy. I would recommend to go there instead of the beach of santa monica or venice if you can reach it by car or bus
