Had a blast. It stormed most of the trip but it was just as amazing. The theme for the house was great. And we had more horse activity than any place. Would come up to us in the hot tub.
Even saw the Banker horses! I love this beach. 4x4 accessible only.
This beautiful section of the Outer Banks has so much to offer. The wild stallions routinely make an appearance, the beach is tranquil, and the entire family will let their worries melt away as they enjoy time together.
Cool place, fun to drive on the beach - look up and follow instructions to do so!! Air down tires, must have 4x4/4wd, and stay out of the water… We were able to find some of the wild banker pony’s. Very nice trip!
Best place to stay when you visit the Outer banks (if you have a 4x4 vehicle) When you are at this beach everyone gives courtesy and space between beach goers, that is the only true way to enjoy the any beach, and it is why we keep coming back. I love the idea of being on the beach and only seeing and experiencing the sand and water (and wild horses). Also for anyone who has little children, babies included, it is the best beach due to the fact that you can haul everything in your vehicle and set it up without having to manually carry anything. Great family atmosphere at this beach, we could sit on the deck of the beach house and watch our older children enjoy the walking around with their toes in the water :) Hope to be back again soon.
