About Castle Rock Beach
Castle Rock Beach offers a dramatic stretch of rugged coastline along the Pacific, featuring distinctive rock formations and tide pools that make it a favorite among explorers and nature photographers. The secluded cove provides a more intimate beach experience compared to LA's crowded shores, with golden sand nestled between towering cliffs and natural rock outcroppings. Visitors are drawn to its scenic beauty, excellent opportunities for tide pooling and wildlife spotting, and the sense of discovery that comes with navigating this less-trafficked gem along the Southern California coast.

Quiet beach with a great view of the sunset on any odd day. Hard not to make a quick stop on the side of the road, when the timing is right, to just sit and enjoy the scenery. Genuinely surprised that the only person I saw on the beach was someone walking their dog. Felt like you had the whole beach to yourself. Worth a stop if the day is lightly cloudy or clear and the sun is setting.
a favorite uncrowded beach all year round
The rich scum on the hill made it so there is no longer parking here along the PCH. I have been parking here all my life. Now they ticket. I asked the guy why since parking has been allowed here all my life. He told me the people on the hill want no parking so they can walk the catwalk over the pch to their personal beach.
Omg we love the beach very much and we collect so beautiful rocks โค๏ธ ๐ชจ
