About Cherry Grove Beach
Cherry Grove Beach is known for its calm, shallow waters and natural inlet that create ideal conditions for swimming and wading, making it especially family-friendly compared to nearby beaches. The area features a classic pier, salt marsh views, and a quieter, more residential atmosphere that attracts visitors seeking a laid-back escape rather than a crowded boardwalk scene. Fishing, kayaking in the inlet, and beachcombing are popular activities, while the proximity to North Myrtle Beach's dining and entertainment options keeps it from feeling isolated.

Parking is free until AM then it is $4 an hour depending on where you park. I like to go during the least busy times any rate. Plenty of seashells. Very pretty.

Lovely beach. I visited during the winter time. Mild temperatures and really big, expansive beach great for walking, jogging or running.
Great beach with chair and umbrella rentals. Large pay to park lots.
Great beach I wish you could have tents again.
