I love this place and will be back! It's everything I enjoy - horses, ocean, good food, friendly people, art galleries. We went for the Pony Swim and I highly recommend you go if you have ever read the Margaret Henry books, as they will come alive so much more when you see the places in person.
This place is the best place to visit if you're looking for serenity. Peace and quiet. You have wildlife. You have wonderful restaurants and you have marvelous people.
It's a place to relax! The views as you can see are amazing. The people are outstanding and very friendly. Everyone is willing to help. We took a trip around the Island with Spider and he was informative. We are definitely going back next year and year after and so on. Thank you Chincoteague Island!!
My family and I spent labor day week here for my daughter's Make a Wish trip. The island is beautiful, with friendly people and really good food. Would definitely visit again. Hell, We may even move there lol. If you're looking for a nice, clean and fairly secluded home to stay on your visit, check out Whispering Pines. XD You won't be disappointed.
Beautiful little island. Very charming. Came for the rocket launch so the park was closed and they even scrapped the launch. All that aside it was worth the trip just for lunch and the sunset.
