We've been here a few times and love the beach! The sand is fine and there was not much seaweed at all when we were there. We went in late May and it can get pretty crowded close to the public entrances, but if you prefer less people you can stroll down the beach a little. Overall the family enjoyed this beach a lot. Message me if you have any questions or want to see more pics of the beach.
Beach park with free parking right off of A1A. Parking is free. There are two picnic pavilions, outdoor showers & a bath house. Womenβs side had two stalls. One was handicapped & had its own sink. Seemed spacious. There is a ramp over the dunes to the beach. I would not try to navigate this with. A wheelchair, due to the sand. However, there is vehicle access at this ramp as well. You will need a four-wheel-drive vehicle for this. We took our Chevy 2500 out & had no problems. This beach access point is ideal in many ways. Donβt miss out!
Visited 2 beaches in Florida this trip. Crescent was our fave of the two. Very beautiful. Also way beach is younger kids can enjoy it to since has some shallowy areas. Bathrooms decent. Parking was avaliable tho we went on a weekday round lunchtime so probably gets busier.
A highway right on the beach? If you want to have lots of suv's, cars, and pickup trucks driving on the beach just 5 feet behind you and ruining the peace while you're trying to enjoy and relax, come to Crescent Beach on a summer weekend. The heavy traffic kicks up sand and you will love the food and snacks with sandy, crunchy taste. Oh so deliciousπ . Some beach goers have to stand on the beach waiting for traffic to clear in order to get around. Why allow car traffic right on the beach where people just try to relax and enjoy nature? Why, why, why? Don't reward LAZY, inconsiderate people who don't want to walk a few short steps to the beach and ruin the peace and quiet for others, not to mention very expensive problems caused by sand getting inside the gears and partsπ₯΅π‘
Beautiful white sand beach, with the finest, softest sand I've experienced. Just a short walk to the parking lot that seems to always have spots available - and FREE parking at that! Park also features a covered picnic table area, outdoor showers, and restrooms. The restrooms aren't pristine in any way, but are normally pretty clean as far as beach restrooms go. There is a seafood restaurant right next door, with a takeout window and outdoor seating, and a gas station Miini Mart right across the street. All in all, no complaints about this place.
