About Cresent Beach
Crescent Beach curves gently along Cannon Beach's northern shore, offering calmer waters than the main beach due to its protected cove position, making it ideal for families and swimmers. The dramatic sea stacks and offshore rocks create a stunning rocky backdrop that photographers and tide pool explorers favor, while the beach's quieter atmosphere and relative isolation from the main strip appeal to visitors seeking a more peaceful coastal experience.

Absolutely beautiful. Puffins, jellyfish, sea stars, and even an octopus. You may even have a chance to see Elk on the beach.
Short hike from public parking in Ecola State Park. Much less busy than Cannon Beach and great views. You can see Haystack rock in the distance and the light house. The beach was very clean and the sand was not rocky or uncomfortable. Out of the three beach locations I went to in the area, this was my favorite.
Not the easiest hike to get to but definitely worth it. A little has changed since the landslide and bring shoes to go through a little mud. But very nice it was secluded with only a few people.
Absolutely stunning beach! This place was amazing! From my understanding you can only get to it by hiking to it, I'm sure at low tide is different, however it's just so nice to have a beach that you have to work to get to! No cars, very few people. One of the only not crowded beaches in the area. Also, the view is amazing!!!
Such a GREAT hike! When you get to the beach go right and pay attention to the rocks and caves. The star fish and sea aneomes are so fun!
