Dunes Beach

A beautiful, clean & peaceful beach, lined with cliffs. Great breeze all over. Nice to visit in the Golden Hour. Looks well maintained. Ample Parking space & benches to sit & chill around. The greenery is beautiful, with greenish - pinkish grass. We chilled on the bench along the parking lot, which is along the cliff.Yet another beach along the West coast.

We volunteer monthly to clean the beaches and this is one of my more favorite places. $10 parking with a slopped flat trail to the beach. There is a scenic walking trail that follows the cliffs. Flushing restrooms w/ sinks. Dogs not allowed on the beach but allowed on the trails.

Excellent beach with a lot of space. The beach is not deep but it is very wide. There is a 10$ fee for a parking located at 2 minutes from the beach. The path is narrow and steep but if you have a wagon with wheels you will be fine. There is a restroom in the parking lot with about 6 toilets. Unfortunately very dirty. The sand is soft, the water has a lot of wave. We visited Ilin early August and the weather was cloudy but warm enough to be in short and t-shirt.

I've been going to Dunes Beach for many years. it's a Beautiful place but I must say I have seen some disturbing things throughout the years a lot of decapitated animals most of all seals it's heartbreaking to see that they are tied up killed and the poor babies as you can see in the video they just pop there heads out of the water looking for there mama it's plan to see that someone tried it up with fabric strips the rangers don't do anything they just leave them to die this is not the first time this happens this animals need to be protected from the cruelty of people
