The beach is super clean. Great for surfers and families with small children since the waves aren’t terribly high along the shore itself.
In my opinion, Wildwood NJ is my happy place! I love all of the NJ beaches, but Wildwood has a special place in my heart. Pristine sand, family friendly, friendly people and of course, the beautiful Atlantic Ocean! Parking can be a problem, especially on weekends at the height of summer. Street parking uses a parking app which makes life easier...no running back and forth to feed a meter! There are parking lots but they fill up quickly. I suggest getting here early (which is fine by me...the more beach time the better!)
The Wildwoods are Gorgeous. We visited early July for Christmas in July and photos with Santa. Ice Cream man walks the beach, too.
The beach was nice and free of litter, the boardwalk (cement) is brand new, well maintained and garage cans. The streets are recently redone and is overall a very nice area to be around!
Sand washed away again...so sad to see yr after yr! Hope they continue to add sand every year! Fell Asleep! lol
