About Edgartown Beach
Edgartown Beach curves along the harbor of this picturesque Martha's Vineyard town, offering calm, sheltered waters ideal for swimming and families with young children. The beach provides views of the iconic Edgartown Lighthouse and serves as a gateway to exploring the charming downtown's galleries, restaurants, and historic whaling captain homes just steps away. The relatively protected bay waters stay warmer than the ocean beaches on the island's south shore, making it a popular summer destination for those seeking both swimming and small-town New England character.
