Great spot to spend some time on the fine sand beach but be careful there is a decent amount of wind so expect to find a layer of fine sand on everything including cameras, phones, bags, etc. Did some swimming and it's not the most clear due to the waves picking up the fine sand. Still able to see and follow some fishes right near the shoreline.
another beautiful Hawaiian beach to put on your bucket list. The lifeguards are top bar and very attentive. Bathrooms and parking very good
Powder sand beach! A lot of parking. Great for Sandcastles and buggie boarding. Clean restrooms and lots of shaded picnic tables. Does not require 4wd
Beautiful, sandy beach. Water was rough when we visited but locals say it is usually calm. Got pretty busy after we arrived The whales put on a show, it was amazing.
Beautiful wide and sandy beach with public access, bathrooms and picnic area. Plenty of parking available. Fee to enter $20 per vehicle, and you can access another beach down the road with the same ticket on the same day. The water is warm and it is sandy all the way so it makes it easy to walk in. There is little shade by the rocks towards the back, so bring and umbrella or something. Really really recommended. Lifeguard not always on duty.
