About Indian Beach
Indian Beach offers calm, shallow Gulf waters protected by sandbars, making it ideal for swimming and wading, particularly for families with young children. The beach features natural mangrove shorelines and sea grass beds that support abundant marine life, giving it a more wild and ecological character than the polished tourist beaches nearby. It's quieter and less crowded than Siesta Key, attracting locals who come to kayak, fish, and spot dolphins and manatees in their natural habitat.

Beautiful vegetation, safe neighborhood, some friendly people .
The best spot to watch the sunset
It's ok for certain things like going out kayaking and fishing but the day I went there was maybe 2 ft of beach. It feels like someone's private beach access you are trespassing on.
This isn't the area with the deck and benches for watching sunsets (that is the Park-this is north of that spot in the neighborhood). This is accessed by a path that leads to a small spit of sand, also has a drain pipe at it and is generally used by folks who are fishing. IT IS NOT A BEACH. Nice spot to put a chair in the water and soak your feet but not a beach. None of the pics appear to be of the actual spot - Bay Shore Drive and around 32nd St. is the entrance point.
Wasted time, should be changed to private beach on Google
