About Kaalawai Beach
Nestled beneath the Kailanianaole Highway cliffs on Oahu's windward side, Kaalawai Beach offers consistently calm, turquoise waters fed by freshwater springs that create an unusually sheltered swimming environment. The beach draws a local crowd for its dramatic volcanic backdrop, excellent conditions for beginner snorkeling along the shallow reef, and peaceful atmosphere that feels removed from Waikiki's tourist bustle despite being just minutes away.

Kaβalawai Beach is the same as Cromwells Beach and is not depicted correctly on Google. It is wast of the Shangri La Museum and has a small sandy beach. Again. It is the same as Cromwells, and that one is depicted correctly on Google Maps. The other nice sunset photo is of Koko head and the hill surrounding Hanauma Bay.. which you canβt see from Cromwells/Kaβalawai
I like it's low volume of people that visit this place and the water is always calm n clear. There's allot of serenity I finds in the evenings and mornings most times I'm the only one there so much Beach to find a place for you
