Low effort, high reward spot for snorkeling! We went a few times throughout our trip and it was gorgeous each time. Easy parking. A very popular spot but once we were in the water, it didn't matter much to us. Our favorite time was around 7:30am-9am when we saw a turtles and lots of fish. As you walk towards the beach from the parking lot, turn right and NOT left for the reefs to snorkel around. You can get in the water close to the right of the parking lot, no need to walk too far down the sand to get great reef views.
this beach was on of my favorite beaches in this area. there was SO MUCH to see when snorkeling โ schools of fish, coral reefs, and turtles! it was gorgeous. the only complaint was the drop off being so drastic and deep.
This is our favorite beach in Maui. Calm waves, beautiful corals and easy snorkeling, soft sand! Lots of marine life and sea turtles! Rainbow is a plus!
One of the few places left with free parking. And it has actual restrooms and an outdoor shower to rinse of the sand. We love sitting on the grassy area after snorkeling. Great place to snorkel, go straight out and to the right. Fyi, they lock the gate at 7pm like the sign says and there is NO WAY to get your car out if it gets locked out. Trust me, I know. You'll have to come back in the morning for your car.
Beautiful beach with reefs. Very good spot for snorkeling. Most action is in front of the hotel, lots of tropical fishes. There is a shower and toilets for public use.
