About Kawailoa Beach
Kawailoa Beach is a narrow, sandy cove on Oahu's North Shore known for its consistently calm, turquoise waters that make it ideal for swimming and snorkeling when larger swells hit nearby breaks. The beach sits backed by lush vegetation and offers a quieter, more local atmosphere compared to the heavily touristed Waikiki area, attracting families and those seeking a more authentic North Shore experience. Its protected waters and proximity to the legendary surf spots of Sunset Beach and Pipeline make it a popular rest spot for visitors exploring the area's renowned winter swells.

A wonderful beach. There are not too many tourists there. It's a good place to spot the turtles. But keep in mind, keep a distance and do not touch them.
Good for surfing. Clear water, white sand, and not crowded
we walked around here for two hours before seeing anyone, loaded with turtles
I lived 0n this on this beach deck in 1953 and 54
No one anywhere, beautiful beach, although not suitable for swimming, but there are a few places with a sandy entrance for cooling off.
