Law Street Beach

As good as the Pacific gets, I’m sure that it’s a mess on the weekends, but weekdays no trouble finding parking. There is a decided lack of street people and that's refreshing.

Great views from the top of the park that overlooks the beach. Watch the surfers, kite borders and beach goers. Since it's about 100 feet up you can see expansive ocean views; North towards False Point and South looking at the Pacific Beach Pier and if you look just right you can see the hills of Ocean Beach and pier. Beach is nice and big, lots of open sand. Have to walk down from park to get to the beach.

Was amazing with the sun set and view, great place to go and just chill. The parking there was difficult but when you find it then your set ... be sure to stay for sunset and be careful on the way down if you go as it is so rough ... we slipped and fall because we are clumsy, but thats us ... we were in slippers and not shoes ... so its all on us.

Really excellent and well kept beach in the Pacific Beach neighborhood. Divided into "Surfers" and "Swimmers" areas to give everyone equal and safe access to the calm Pacific Ocean. Parking can be a challenge. Not one of the San Diego beaches with concrete fire rings, so no fires here. Also, no San Diego beaches allow alcoholic beverages, there is a zero tolerance policy, but enforcement is not always "proactive".
