Wonderful beach and so much to explore and see. Every time I go I seem to find something new. My favorite spot is this cute staircase not far from the tide pools.
This beach is absolutely beautiful with some great swimming, tide pools, and wildlife. We saw several dolphins and a lot of pelicans. Dogs are welcome on the beach, north of the third lifeguard tower.
It is a beautiful spot and a gem in Southern California. I would caution parts of the beach because the waves are pretty strong therefore if you have little ones keep them close and protected. The park rangers are very helpful and nice. Make sure to check out the caves during low tide. The high tide may prevent you from seeing the caves.
Beautiful coastal views and rock outcroppings and sea caves make this a spectacular spot to take photos especially at sunset. Also cool spot to relive some nostalgia from the Karate Kid movie.
We went at just the right time and even on a busy Saturday there was so much space and so many things to check out and do. I think we spent close to three hours there. So refreshing and fun!! Make sure you go at low tide and arrive a little before.
