About Lewis Bay Beach
Lewis Bay Beach offers calm, shallow waters that warm quickly in summer, making it ideal for families and swimmers seeking gentler conditions than the Atlantic-facing beaches nearby. The beach features views of the Cape Cod Canal and provides excellent opportunities for kayaking and paddleboarding in the protected bay waters. With its modest sandy shoreline and relaxed neighborhood atmosphere, it attracts locals looking for a quieter alternative to crowded resort beaches rather than tourists seeking dramatic coastal scenery.
Visitor Reviews
Yes, there is a, "beach" - technically; I've used it, so, I know it's there. However -- a Google Maps, user, puts the place marker on the nearest structure, a large, aluminum-sided, shed. But it's, small, narrow, and unkept. Counted around, 20, dead, horseshoe crab exoskeletons, strewn, across the sandy area last summer. Couldn't support more than a handful of people, at any, one, time.
Really small beach. There are some swings and a climbing structure and parking is free. Also some porta potties onsite but it's a pretty tiny area. Overcast on the day we went so not too crowded.
The direction lead us to this private residence and we got yelled at by one of the residents. Definitely not a beach.
Lovely small beach. Good parking and the views are grea watch the ferry coming in
Nowhere to really Park. Call yacht and boat personalle pretty much only for residents
