Little Hunters Beach in Acadia National Park is pure magic! Tucked away with just a few parking spots right by the trail, this hidden gem feels like your own private escape. The short staircase leads to a stunning cobblestone beach where the waves create the most soothing rhythm — a lullaby you can only dream of. At low tide, you can carefully climb the rocks for even more breathtaking views. Peaceful, beautiful, and absolutely worth the stop!
I visited here in the early 1970s and again in the 1980s. This is the most magical, soothing, happy little cove and beach. It is one of my happiest places on Gaia. Human frailties disappear and tranquility reigns. Listening to the beach pebbles sing to each other is one of nature's gifts... 🎁
Such a beautiful stop very short walk! Its a beach filled with both large and small pebbles. One of my favorite stops!
Absolutely love this gem for a place to go rock hunting and the sound of the rocks rolling on the ride is amazing. Great place to just connect with nature with not a whole lot of tourist there.
Nice little secluded outlook. Great for some pictures of the wooden steps. Better for Milky Way shots but didn’t get a chance
