Lenghty boardwalk with views of the ocean, dunes and sea grass. The gray whale sculptures and bones were quite cool. Often see deer in the area too. Outstanding spot to watch the sun set.
Good walk on a sunny day, had some peaceful time
Oh my goodness! Have to say, one of my favorite beaches. I love that you can drive 🛻 on it. Have wonderful beach fires 🔥 We saw eagels and turkey vutures close up. Which was a very special treat! People were fishing 🎣. We even saw them catch a fish from the turbulent waves in the ocean. What a beautiful ocean to just sit back and watch. Definitely bring a hoodie and rain jacket to protect you from the wind and rain 🌧 My family celebrated Father's day 💙 So relaxing and just making terrific memories ✨️
A great beach for a tailgate picnic. You will find many vehicles on the beach on a warm sunny day. Most of the beach is a big parking lot. Swimming is not recommended. You might find a sand sculpture while visiting. The beach winds are great for kit flying. Port-a-Johns are available.
Beautiful boardwalk along the beach. Portable toilets were in place. They blocked off the restroom areas with the portables. Guess they didn't want to clean them. Got to see some kites while walking. They were cool. So was the whale skeleton but it could have used some attention as weeds were growing up all around it.
