This is an amazing beach for swimming and sunsets! Come relax here and build a bonfire to enjoy the beautiful sunset!
Such a beautiful beach I hope this spring / summer will bring some sand back up on the beach. This winter was extremely tough on the beach and the parking lot is almost gone.
Beautiful island and clean beach. Madaket waves can be a bit rough so not ideal for families! Otherwise, it is very peaceful here
Perfect destination point if you are biking from the Historic District. Lovely, well-maintained beach. Bike rack and a little bit of car parking. We were there on a lovely July Saturday and it was relatively busy--people on their blankets every 20-30 feet. Lots of room to walk. View out over the ocean. Fog rolled in around early afternoon.
Absolute best sunsets I have ever seen in my life! Beach is gorgeous and in the off-season there is plenty of parking available.
