I love this beach, the last owners use to let me and my family fish here if we gave them some fish. For years we would do this and never have a problem. I wanna come back and fish here but it’s private, I would love to Pay homeowners js to park and fish there for night or day. My childhood memories was at that beach

I have been coming to Miller Place , Cedar Beach & The Rest Of The Beaches Along This Stretch Of The Long Island Sound For Several Years Now. It always was Very Well Maintained!! We Definitely Lost A Lot Of Beach Over This Past Winter. The Sound Is Flooding A lot Of What’s Left Of This Once Beautiful Get Away During High Tide. Leaving very little Beach For Sun Worshippers. The Remaining Beach Needs A Major Clean Up I Have Never Seen The Horrible Condition Its In Before. It Is Very Apparent The Township Has Done Zero Work To Prepare This Heavily Used Beach...Quite Frankly I’m shocked. Besides repaving The Worn Out Road That Takes Beach Goers Into The Multiple Beaches We Enjoy Each Summer Nothing Else Has Been Done, Except Installing Money Parking Meters All Along The Parking Lots So Out Of Town Guests Can Utilize The Beaches This Year @ I Believe $3.00 Per Hour. ( Fact Check ) There Is No Room For The Additional Beach Goers... Not Enough Sand Not Enough Parking For More People. Extremely Disappointed!!! The Only Thing Left Is The Usual Friendly Locals Who Are Just As Surprised As Me..
