Absolutely love coming here each year if i can!! It's one of the quieter beaches around with some amazing scenery and is also very clean. Just watch out for the jellyfish.
Ocean isle Beach used to be a beach lovers dream, but big named developers have come in and taken over our once beloved community and taken all the trees away. Even the east end of the beach no longer has the walking paths it once had just a couple years ago. I still give it 5 stars because it's home.
I've been a couple of times in the past 2 years. My in-laws book a local place several times a year. Clean beach, pretty good fishing, great for shell/shark tooth hunting. Caught a couple last trip including a 5lb red drum.
Great place for a quiet vacation with friends or family. My only complaint is that, if the beaches are the reason for everyone to come here, why is there seaweed all over the beaches and no one cleans it up. I visit lake Michigan shoreline all the time and everyday they clean the beaches.
Although this year’s trip ended yesterday, the annual tradition of going to this beach ALWAYS delivers. The beach is always so nice to see, the waves really make your heart feel at another level. I’m super blessed to be coming here ever since I was 4, and I’m not going to stop coming any time soon.
