One of the best beaches in the area. It’s not as crowded and is perfect for families with kids. The waves are calm and is a perfect beach to relax and chill out. It’s one of the top beaches in the Norfolk metro area. The views are awesome. I would highly recommend this beach for a visit

I love how this beach is almost empty after warm summer season. It is like I have a private backyard living only 1 mile away! Calm, peaceful, and overall a much nicer part of Norfolk today than it was back in the 90s...
Ocean View Beach is a pleasant place to relax and enjoy the ocean. The beach is clean, with nice views and enough space for walking along the shore or spending some quiet time by the water. It’s generally calm and less crowded than more tourist-heavy beaches.
Extremely peaceful. There weren't too many people, even on labor day, and even when there was a decent amout, there was still tons of personal space, which I loved.
