One of our favorite beach access locations never really crowded maybe because it’s literally 130 steps down to the beach which also makes good for a morning workout. The sunset is amazing and the agate selection is great.
I think it's the tallest beach access. The stairs down are amazing. Fantastic view from the top and the beach is gorgeous and super walkable. There are 3 parking spots plus 1 handicap spot. No facilities. Really great place to get a beach walk in.
A word to the wise: from the parking, this beach access hides a deceptive set of at least five long storeys of concrete stairs! Has about 3 parking spots and 3 more across street. If this information was helpful, I would appreciate a quick like or follow. Thank you!
today was lovely it was a perfect 65° down there no wind it was amazing the beach was so clean and we didn't have to walk but maybe six little steps of stairs from the short trail to the beach itself it was an amazing day the tide was out and it was gorgeous beautiful sunset... the parking lot though was really small could fit maybe two dozen cars in it and that's about itbut it was so awesome to have people hustling to let other people come in and enjoy this beach was great I think it wasn't crowded because of the little amount of parking that there was so it was a really nice Beach I'm definitely going to go to it again and have a little fire one night with a friend
Beautiful spot to walk along the beach!! If you access from the Seahorse you’ll have quite the hike up and down the stairs but you’re in nature, basically exercising anyway, so what are a few stairs gonna hurt? It appears you get the most beach space in the morning or late afternoon. I thought I would see whales but I haven’t been blessed yet so I’ll be heading back to Depoe Bay to see them. We have a room at the Seahorse with a beautiful ocean view and one morning there were kids writing in the sand so I uploaded the funny funny video, hopefully that isn’t a problem 🤦♀️😂
