Very nice place to park. Enjoy the ocean and marsh. It closes at 11.00pm I was there at 5 30a.m. to fish guess thats ok since there is no open hr sign
Nice to have free parking at the beach. It needs to be a little bit bigger. The beach area is awesome
This is a fairly small lot, so it gets full on nice summer days. If you go early enough, you can get a spot. There are outhouses available that are decent as outhouses go. The beach is beautiful, and it is a nice walk down to the inlet, and across the sand to the creek. Many people enjoyed fishing and swimming there. We found some great shells and sharks teeth as well.
This spot is a gem! The scenery is breathtaking with great views in all directions. It's a perfect place to escape with a slower pace than other beaches, due in part to the smaller parking lot. While some may argue that the parking lot should be bigger, that's really what makes this spot so special. It helps keep the crowds down, although you do need to arrive early to secure a spot. The charm of this location is unmatched, and it boasts a quaint and peaceful atmosphere, complete with friendly locals and the signature Lowcountry marsh. Truly one of my favorite destinations in the area. If you visit, please make sure to leave no trace and keep this spot special! — Carson
This is a great beach spot location. Easy access to the beach, with free parking. The beach is beautiful and there is plenty of room to roam. The best part is, this is a dog friendly beach, which is awesome. Our pup had a great time, as did we. The sunrise over the beach is breathtaking, as well as the sunset. We stayed in nearby Georgetown, which is a town about 20 mins away(which was a perfect area to stay). Highly recommend.
