Absolutely beautiful, there was plenty of parking and a short walk to the beach. No pets are allowed here. The sand is firm enough to pull your wagons. Looking for a bit of PEACE, this is the place.
When you arrive the first thing you see is the beautiful white sand beach, we were on the private end actually for most of the time. Though as you get closer a strong scent of fish and seaweed fill your nose. Clean area, very well maintained. Only real downside are the trenches they build to drain into the water. Rode my bike down the beach a few times and gotta watch closely for those or you'll really eat it so to speak. Gorgeous area to watch the sunset, not real crowded at all. Leave your food at home unless you like eating sand! XD I love that they guard the turtle habitats. Oh. DONT EAT THE SAND
My daughter and I were on a vacation in the Sarasota area and went to Lido beach. We instantly loved the beach! Very clean and not too crowded when we were there. It was so peaceful and relaxing. Will definitely visit here again!
Beautiful soft and white sand, but very wide to cross if you have difficulties walking in sand. There sand bars here are awesome!! LOTS of birds and bait fish quite often, and especially today.
What a beautiful beach! Walking out to the Waterside, you'll pass a few areas in the sand that contain a lot of broken shells and shell pieces, which makes for some sore feet if youre not used to it. Still a great experience! Umbrellas and chairs are available for purchase, but you can also bring your own. A nice place to catch some sunshine and swim in the gulf!
