About Secret Beach
Secret Beach is a secluded cove accessible only by a short hike through coastal forest, offering visitors a dramatic setting with sea stacks, tide pools, and relatively calm waters protected by rocky outcroppings. The beach attracts tide poolers and photographers who come to explore abundant starfish, anemones, and other marine life, as well as those seeking a quiet escape from busier Oregon coastal spots. Its intimate size and off-the-beaten-path location create a peaceful, exploratory atmosphere perfect for families and nature enthusiasts willing to venture beyond the main tourist areas.

Words cannot describe the beauty and feeling I get when I am here. I knew it was where we had to share our vows. The hike down can be slippery, and even more so going down the rocks to the beach itself, but if you have good shoes and can balance, itβs 100% worth it.
A definite must! The hike down to secret beach is a bit confusing, but not very challenging. The hike itself is very nice, then you get to where you catch a glimpse of secret beach and it motivates you to keep going! We went at low tide, so we actually walked on the beach and chilled for some time. We saw 3 other people on the beach the entire time we were there! It is peaceful, beautiful, and a definite must!
Great spot to walk if tide is low. Little hard walk to get there but is relatively safe to do it.
Very clear water when you get there. A decently rough hike, and a steep rock to get down to the sand from but perfect for a hang out area.
Itβs a rough hike so be prepared. You have to scale down the rock to get to the beach but worth it. We saw seals swimming.
