About Seminole Beach
Seminole Beach offers calm, sheltered waters ideal for swimming and paddleboarding, protected by the nearby Intracoastal Waterway rather than direct ocean exposure. The beach is known for its relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere and proximity to the San Marco neighborhood, with easy access to local restaurants and shops just steps away. Its narrow sandy shoreline and gentle conditions make it a popular spot for beginners and families seeking a quieter alternative to Jacksonville's more crowded oceanfront beaches.

One of the best beaches in the area. On base, so it's private. There never seems to be too many people around. Decent size you can spread out of others are there. Great view.
A phenomenal beach if you have base access. Unlike most beaches along the east coast, there is free parking, rarely overcrowded and restrooms just steps from the beach access points.
Love the beach, surf is a little off putting for younger kids, but overall quiet and relaxing
Nice quiet beach on base good for relaxing as it is much quieter and less crowded than the public beaches out in town. Lots of people go fishing down towards the basin entrance by the rocks.
Beautiful beach, cleanest I've seen in a long time or ever! No public restrooms that I saw though. Best way to get here is through the base if you have access. FYI, Google Maps will route you through the base entrance.
