About Squibnocket Beach
Squibnocket Beach offers a secluded, rocky shoreline on Martha's Vineyard's south shore, known for its dramatic coastal views and pristine natural setting away from crowded tourist beaches. The beach features a mix of sand and smooth stones, with consistent Atlantic swells making it popular for surfing and body surfing, particularly during fall and winter months. Visitors are drawn to its rugged beauty, excellent conditions for water sports, and the sense of peaceful isolation it provides compared to more developed Vineyard beaches.

Absolutely the best surf conditions on the island no matter the wind. No man's land, and the tip of the island will create a perfect smooth wave. With the slanted coastline, you can ride a wave for hundreds of yards
Beautiful beach. Incredible views. Not much for beach going. Incredibly peaceful.
Beautiful rocky beach! It's a great spot to beachcomb, not much of an area to lay a beach blacket down. This is a private beach in season.
Parking in the summer is by sticker only or day pass. One of the best waves to ride on the island. In the morning, the beach is a favorite spot to let your dog off leash and play. Dogs are allowed and non-resident cars can park until 9 AM.
Great beach. Always different. Sometimes misty, sometimes clearer. Great waves and surfers to watch.
