This was a nice little beach to chill at before heading to the airport. It was fun to sit back and watch the dogs and surfers. The beach is right along route 1 and there was plenty of parking along the street. Access was by stairs or small trails leading down to the beach. The only con is that the tide was coming in and there wasnβt a lot of beach to sit on.
Been a few years since we came to this beach but the parking was easy along the highway. Steps down to a narrow somewhat protected beach next to the jetty along the harbor. I am looking forward to coming back here. The day we came there was tons of seaweed and anchovies. I tried fishing a little bit just caught salad lol.
a little windy! but always beautiful and one of the nicest beaches on the coast (also i have the best parking luck here π)
This beach is wonderful for walking at all times but especially when itβs low tide. It is usually easy to access but recently (after the storms) the staircase has been damaged. Hopefully they will fix it soon to make it more accessible. It is a lovely place to sit on the rocks and cliffs to watch the surfers.
This is a gorgeous beach that could not be more convenient to access. It's literally on highway 1, and you can park either along the eastern side of the freeway or on the dirt lot by the skate ramp. There are steps down to the beach if you're with kids or grandparents. Also, if you happen to be a beginner surfer, this is a solid spot to earn reps and not be berated by grumpy locals. If you're an early riser or like to walk, it's a great sunrise/sunset walk. Or a good time with your pup.
