About White Point Beach
White Point Beach in San Pedro offers dramatic coastal geology with distinctive white cliffs and tide pools teeming with starfish, anemones, and other marine life that make it a favorite for tide pooling and marine exploration. The beach itself is small and rocky rather than sandy, backed by a scenic bluff park with walking paths that provide sweeping views of the Pacific and nearby rocky outcroppings. The colder, nutrient-rich waters attract surfers and divers, while the protected coves and relatively quiet atmosphere draw locals seeking an alternative to LA's more crowded beach scenes.

Beautiful and scenic place. This location was not that crowded for a sat afternoon. Picturesque views of the ocean and the cliffs. Good place to hang out waits family and friends. The naturally formed rocks creates a unique miniature water fall experience with the crashing waves
Beautiful ocean views, this beach is not typical with waves ending in sand, but rocks instead. Good place to walk on the edge over rocks to look and find little treasures from the ocean. Good place to practice fishing π£ π. Be careful while walking over edges. Entrance fee is $10 per vehicle and there are lots of spots to park. Enjoy your visit.
The great place for a family outing. One of my favorite Beach. I love this place. The bluff portion of this beach has metered parking, ample restrooms, childrenβs play area, picnic tables, and outstanding panoramic views that include Catalina Island. You can spend some time alone, feeling the cool sea breeze and crashing waves, dipping your feet in the clear sea water.
Personally it was too crowded and rocky for me. I think my sisters car was dented here. Expect loud music and lots of rocks. If you can get past that, it's a really nice tidepool, but I still prefer crystal cove in orange county over this. Expect tagging. You will see a lot of wild sqirrels that live in the rocks. They will get really close to you.
