Absolutely LOVE this beach, boardwalk games, rides and vintage motels.....it's so nostalgic and brings you right back to the good times of the past.
A perfect beach and boardwalk !!! Family beach and there are so many other activities to do on the boardwalk . There is a big signboard on the entrance with rainbow balls .
Wildwood is the Amazing place to spend time with the family
Absolutely love Wildwood. The best boardwalk there is, with several stores, places to eat, the boardwalk mall, and 2 separate water/theme parks. There’s never nothing to do on the Wildwood boardwalk especially if you’re with kids. The only downfall of this beach is that it’s a hike to get to the water, if you’re heading here with a bunch of stuff, make sure you get a team to help haul all of it down. Another thing on the boardwalk is there’s a tram car every 2 seconds so you might get a little frustrated having to move over so frequently while walking.
The North Wildwood beach was EXTREMELY crowded ! There were many people who would arrive really early on the beach and set up these large tents, sometimes MULTIPLE tents, as close to the water as possible only to leave the beach entirely and come back when it suited them. This practice effectively cut off any view of the ocean. In my opinion, people should only be permitted to use these tents further back on the beach. Besides these tents, we felt like we were on top of each other due the amount of people with very little spacing. If I could have given LESS than one star I would have. WAY TOO OVERCROWDED AND INCONSIDERATE PEOPLE !
